With World Time Attack Challenge in 4 days, we’re getting pretty excited. But, to start this week’s episode, we talk about the Koenigsegg Agera RS’ domination of the Bugatti Chiron with their Zero-to-400KPH-to-Zero record.
We then transition to Hyundai and discuss their new i30 N, and the ‘N Customised’ parts which will debut with Hyundai Germany. Hyundai Australia has shown interest in the range, however still no word on when we’ll see the bits and pieces here. We then debate the legitamacy of factory-fitted aftermarket options, Joseph brings up the Tickford air-intake option for the EcoBoost Ford Mustang, then Joseph and Mitch argue about paint protection.
Toyota has released images of their new 86 concept the ‘GR HV Sports Concept’ which looks like a parts-bin car, however it does have some interesting parts. Particularly the H-pattern automatic shifter and jet-fighter inspired start/stop on top of the gear shifter, and hybrid power train. Joseph and Matt then discuss the difference between turbochargers and superchargers for a bit, Mitch takes a back seat here.
